About Camellia Palms Lake House
The Lake House at Camellia Palms has stood on the shores of Lake Jackson for 140 years. The property was one of the first homes built in Florala and is the only private venue for rent on the lake today. Guests frequently say it's like "taking a step back in time." When you're here, you'll find yourself enjoying the stunning pink sunsets over the lake and walking among the shaded palms.
This historic home allows you to find relaxation with quality bedding and spacious suites, to gaze out the windows, and take short, walks into downtown Florala to coffee shops, restaurants, antique stores, and gift shops.
The downstairs retreat rooms were designed for crafters and quilters (or yoga practices!) so be sure to bring your projects and your mat.

Transportation to and from is on your own, as are a few meals.

Full Kitchen & Grill Info
There is a full-sized refrigerator in the kitchen. The other appliances are a 5 burner gas stove, dishwasher, kitchenaid mixer, toaster, coffee brewer and a Keurig machine, blender, and large crockpot. There are pots, pans, and dinnerware for 16. The grill is for charcoal only and is down on a lower patio, not on the deck. Val is bringing wood charcoal and the accoutrements.

WHERE TO EAT for the "on your own" mealtimes.
These restaurants do call-in orders if you don't want to go in: Ranch House Kitchen, The Depot, and Monterrey's. The Depot will deliver to the Lake House as well if you call in advance. All of these restaurants can do vegetarian options of some kind.
Jackson's Corner is an antique store in town with a divine fudge shop inside the store! Ranch House Kitchen also has an ice cream bar inside, too, if you want a sweet treat! There is also a Publix in Crestview, FL 26 miles away where you can get groceries and anything fresh you need.
